This is a really cool site. I'm glad to be a part of it! Its nice to see that we Alaskans can share
our passion and interests with each other and everyone else! I've been practicing by myself for the last year or so and have been waiting for a group to start in Anchorage. Now we have one with some really excited people!
We are all new to the game around here but super eager to flow better!

Well, it's been ages since I've talked with you. How's the capoeira going? Capoeira is officially being taught at UAA> I've managed to get into the class this semester. It's great fun! An official capoeira group has actually started in Fairbanks. The mestre and some of the group came for a visit. It was a great deal of fun. Capoeira is FINALLY growing up here.

Hey, if you are still in town, looks like Noeima is starting to teach capoeira pretty regular at UAA. The spring semester has already started and I am not sure if you can get in now, but its a start, and hopefully you'll be able to catch it next semester if not this one... :D

It was a good class. I am still sore from it. It was nice to do some of the floor moves. Freezes and what not are just fun.

I have been trying to find music. I think Noemia has to order her CDs online, or gets them from her family in Brazil. Someday...
