So, this summer I found a place that teaches muay thai in my area this summer. I've been taking it these last couple of months while capoeira classes are on summer break (one of the downsides to having capoeira classes taught through the university). It has been great, though occasionally really entertaining. Trying to do evasions, and instead of ducking muay thai style, I go back capoeira style. Gotta watch the kicks as well.. keep wanting to put back both hands instead of keeping one up to protect the face. Intense work out with lots of laughter involved. And coming this Saturday? My first day taking BOTH martial arts classes... on my muay thai's longest day. Two full hours of muay thai in the morning, three full hours of capoeira a couple hours later. It's going to be insane. It's going to be a blast. And you can bet I'm going to be rather confused for a bit as I work to keep each style separate from each other. Fun, fun! :D

It's been fun so far. I notice I have a greater tendency to try and add capoeira to my muay thai instead of the other way around... so far. :)

Watch your knees. Youll end up wanting to throw Joelhadas more in a roda. May not be too good ;p
