Mike Morales after 4yrs completed his 8 weeks blackbelt certification program to recieve his 1st Degree Blackbelt, while Frank Ashley recieve his 2nd Degree Blackbelt in the African American Martial Art of "Kwa or Ya Asilia Avita Sanaa", also shown here is Artyom Svjatickij performing the part of our "Teke" (The African American Foot Fighting) called Knocking and Kicking [Kugonga Na MaTeke] it is called Capoeira in Brazil and Ladja in Martinique. The Charleston dance has been traced back to blacks who lived on an island off the coast of Charleston, South Carolina (which is why the dance is called "Charleston"). Many Africans were brought from Angola to the Carolinas because of their knowledge of rice planting. Also most of the Africans sent to Brazil were from the Angolan region where the call the Charleston dance the Jinga.
